I’ve been guiding pretty well straight through since mid May of this year. It is amazing how time flies. The fires in the northwest created quite a bit of smoke in early July. We all hope for a calmer, clearer summer. It has been devastating to see so much loss among my friends and colleagues. We are all hoping for happier days ahead. On the brighter side, the fishing in the Nipigon system has been great this year, and the water high and cold. I’ve had a great time with clients new and old and the Lodge in Red Rock has been a second home. Please feel free to contact me through this website if you are interested in a guided trip in 2027. I hope to see you out there on the water.
Walleye or Pickerel? and more…
Today is the longest day of the year, which means we are about to enter the thick of summer in Northwestern Ontario.
