October winds…

I don’t know how we got through October this quickly, but here we are. The bow season came and went, and sadly, the bull tag went unfilled. A lot learned however.  Work has kept my rifle hunting to a minimum, but that will change soon. The rifle moose hunt seems to be pretty successful this year,at least around Thunder Bay,  likely due to a later rut.Lots of deer sign as well, and honestly, I can’t wait to get out there for whitetails. And I did squeeze in a little muskie fishing trip in early October. Even caught one!
