Killing off February

It turns out I’m brutal at updating my blog. Funny since, I’ve spent much of the last 25 years doing nothing but writing! In fact, I’m averaging about a post every month, which is pretty bad. I’m going to try and do better.

The winter has been busy, as usual.I’ve been doing a lot of ice fishing, and have been getting some nice specs. I’m hoping to go out for lake trout this week, as the February weather is moderating here in northwestern Ontario.

My outdoor seminar schedule is pretty packed. This coming weekend I’ll be in Marathon as part of the Marathon Rod and Gun Club Outdoor Adventure Series. It all takes place on Saturday February 19.  The following weekend I’ll be in Thunder Bay at the Central Canada  Outdoor Show Feb 25 to 27. Here’s a link to the web site. I’ll also be helping out North Country Cycle and  Sports at the boat show that runs concurrent at the CLE coliseum. I’m the Lund/Mercury pro staff at North Country.

And once again this year, I’ll be representing Ontario Out of Doors magazine at the Toronto Sportman Show March 16 -20. I’ll be doing seminars on both the hunting and fishing stages.I also usually do some time sitting in the Out of Doors booth as well, so come by and say hi.

Hope you are enjoying your winter. Tight lines.
