Guiding

My specialty is guiding on the Nipigon system for brook trout, lake trout, pike and salmon.  There are also opportunities for walleye and bass as well. I enjoy guiding and will do my best to put you on big fish while giving you a safe, exciting outing on some breathtaking water.

At present, most of my guiding is done out of Quebec Lodge, in Red Rock. The lodge is a very cool place, and provides a great jump off spot to fishing on Lake Superior, the Nipigon River and Lake Nipigon.

Ray Rivard is the proprietor of Quebec Lodge. He can be contacted at ray@nipigonriveradventures.com

This is a great video that I was lucky to be a part of, put together in 2015 by Daniela Carlino, with the help of Rob Swainson. It gives you a good feel for the history and present day Nipigon.

This is a very cool visual history of the Nipigon River and it’s brook trout fishery.
